Susan Wing

Susan has had the opportunity to spend 32 years in public education, serving as a special education teacher, learning support strategist and middle school principal.  Her leadership and vision have enabled her to open two public schools housing over 1,000 students each and to lead over 100 faculty members in those environments. She also had the opportunity to be the founding Head of School at GRACEPOINT, a private school for children with dyslexia. She hopes to inspire and encourage you through her blogs, public speaking and general words of wisdom.

She is also a wife, a mother of two, bonus mother of one and a grandmother "Mimi" to four.  While we all wish we had trouble-free lives, that is not usually the case and has not been for Susan.  Her life experiences have enabled her to look at life's circumstances and meet those circumstances with optimism and determination.

For years those around her have encouraged her to publicly share and speak her words of wisdom and points to ponder.  She is grateful to have the opportunity to share these with you.

I have always been a bottom-line kind of girl. Get to the point, say what you have to say... That all being said, you get to a point in your life where you feel like you want to give back, share what little bit of wisdom that you may have gained with the hope that those words will encourage and inspire others.

So here’s the bottom line. I hope to share with you things that make a difference...things that may give you a little inspiration and joy...things that will lift you up and keep you going when life is hard.
